My name is Jean Claude KAMWENUBUSA, a proactive young Burundian and Christian who has been volunteering for social changing since 2001. I am a Founder-Executive Director of instituted charitable organization formed for the purpose of founding a Community Health and Social Welfare facility, « ASSOCIATION POUR LA SOLIDARITE ET L’ASSISTANCE SOCIO-SANITAIRE (ASASS-BURUNDI) a.s.b.l », a not for profit young students& professionals volunteers led-organisation.

ASASS-BURUNDI has been contributing towards the re-development and rebuilding of their communities, through volunteering services, for 7years. I have experienced in implementing and coordinating the Youth and adults Activities and programmes which have had a ripple effect on the other youth leaders and thus contributed to making a difference in my country. And together with our activist neighbours, we are expected to bring our contributions in these ways:

1. Stimulate the Burundian people, especially the youth to get involved into research in health, Economic empowerment, development and the decision-making process so that they can become economically and socially influent;

2. Promote our semi and grassroots development and promote young people as a human resource and no as a problem in the community where they lives, which will continue to build a BETTER WORLD 4 ALL (ABW4ALL!)

3. Create the culture of entrepreneurship and leadership among Burundian young people in order to support the creation of self-reliance to secure their financial independence

My name is Jean Claude KAMWENUBUSA, a proactive young Burundian and Christian who has been volunteering for social changing since 2001.
